Head Contact on Ryan Applin Leads to Suspension

A head-contact incident involving CBS Blues and Red Wings AP player Ryan Applin resulted in supplemental discipline following a review of the play.

The incident occurred during the game between the CBS Blues and Deer Lake Red Wings when Applin was contacted high by a Blues player. Officials assessed a head-contact penalty on the play.

Applin was able to return to the game following the incident.

After reviewing the play, league officials issued a 1-game suspension to the CBS Blues player involved under rule 7.7b
